The Al Dana Commercial Town Center is the centerpiece of a proposed 8-km long development located along a narrow strip of coastline between the airport and city center. Typical of projects in that region, Al Dana is an island development built on entirely reclaimed land, and comprises 6 mixed-use urban blocks arranged in a radial plan that is zoned into distinctive urban characters: active waterfront marina, commercial retail high street, and residential pedestrian canal promenade.
