The Carnegie International, held every four years, was a collaboration between the curatorial team, architects and graphic designers to organize 38 diverse international artists’ works inside a sprawling Beaux Arts building and Modern museum addition. The design concept expressed the theme of transition from material to transcendent worlds, linked together by graphic and architectural markers that tied the diverse spaces of the museum into a continuous narrative experience.
